    We have nice big gamming event in india now. But it is to make indian gamers better in new age games or it is just a one good moment that just come and go once in left time, without any progerss. Im saying this just to tell that, i never saw or heard in any country ppl or gamers playing a stratigy game or RPG game in Racing style. I hope evry one getting me. The rules made by (i dont know) EA or Vixture are not good. You have to understand that there is no such thing in Crysis known as ‘Team Death Match’. There is only 2 types of gameplay in crysis, which are:-
    1. [PS] Power Struggle.(A team based game)
    In power struggle both teams have to try capturing buliding that give them ability to attack on enemy with better weapons and ultimatly help them to distroy enemy base(Its kind of battle-Field games from EA). Both teams start with basic weapon wich is by deafult a pistol which also not a long range weapon.
    2.[IA] Instant action. (Free for all)
    As it says. Not a team based game aswell there is no options to conver [IA] or [PS] into Team Death Match.

    Now if we have to play team game we have to join power struggle the main issue is that the maps made for power struggle are too big. We can not compare them with the small maps of Unreal Tournament Or Quake or even Counter-Strike. And in P.S you have to buy weapons from the money you and your team gain by capturing buildings, the ammount of money you get by killing enemy is verry much low not enough to buy itms you need. Now if we play these maps with 10 players god knows they can find each other. Each and every one will camp till end . And this will result many draws in game. Also there going to be many issues like according to P.S a team is winning but according to event rules a team is loosing because they are low on frags(kills). So many good gamers of this will going to be disappointed by these rules[from EA and Vixture]. And if other team is just little good on aiming but cant do better in capturing and will go ahead to represent INDIA they going to loose like, i mean so bad. And those good indian team of these games or on any other games will not be able to play for india. I know this is now a world wide tournament, but this happens always in india and some one have to change this trend. This is what happens in india ppl play with unoffcial rules and when they come in front of frogen teams they loose badly. And thats how india remains where it is as always. Gamming goes no where. It is only few lines that we read that india going to do something this time in world of cyber games with new age or next gen games. There is still time to change rules and please if you reading this thik about it plz admin in charge. or this is going to be just one fancy glamorus 10-30mins of tv show only. Not a gaming. Ty

  • 6. HopelessDreams  |  April 30th, 2008 at 8:09 pm

    Deleting gamers comments here said enough, but that wont help coz every gamer know about these sad rules. They know every thing.

    Vixture Admin: Check the Revised and Detailed rule set here.

  • 15. Administrator  |  May 5th, 2008 at 7:37 am

    Hi,

    Sorry for taking so much time to put through all the comments we’ve received till date.

    We’ve tried to respond to each of the questions raised by you guys till date and will respond more frequently from now on.

    - the version of Crysis that we will be playing is called “Instant Action” and this will basically be a timed event with points for the number of players left alive at the end of the given time;

    - there will be official tracks for NFS which we will select and put up on this blog within the next 2-3 days;

    - you can apply for registration through our website at http://www.vixture.com;

    - the dates for eliminations in each of the cities will be updated on our website by May 8, 2008 and these are all console games except for Crysis which is PC based;

    - if you’re an individual gamer, you will need to find 5 others like minded people to form a team. Vixture is a team event and promotes team competition. You can use these blogs here to help you find other like minded people and we will create a separate thread for that to help you out;

    - not sure which gamer’s comments we’ve deleted!!

    - the Death Match is a term we have used more generically to explain the strategy we have chosen for Crysis. It will be Instant Action timed and you get points for the number of players left alive, thus achieving a Death Match;

    - FIFA 08 will be console based so you cannot change to PC format for Vixture. All the game formats are on the relevant platforms explained in the rules and will not be played across the platforms;

    - Yes there is a fee of INR 1,500 per team (inclusive of taxes);

    - There is a DD payment as well, not just online payment. How do you know its a scam? Well thats for you to judge after you see our press ads etc and gauge if we would spend so much money on promoting the event and then run a scam to earn money off the registration fee which wouldn’t cover the cost of even one city’s publicity!

    - Unfortunately, we do not have approvals to allow nationals of other countries to participate though we would have loved to do that. Sorry!! Perhaps you can take part in our Dubai leg which we will be announcing soon.

    Whew! Hope we’ve answered most of the questions raised and will continue to do so keep them coming. All we’d like to say is that we’re making a sincere effort to make gaming big in India and we really hope that you guys will support us!

    Cheers!

  • 16. Administrator  |  May 5th, 2008 at 7:43 am

    Sorry. One quick correction. In Crysis, the team with the higher number of players alive at the end of the Instant Action timed match will get the 4 points. In case of equal number of players alive, the points will be split equally between the teams.

  • 17. flow  |  May 5th, 2008 at 8:49 am

    Now would’nt that promote camping in a game ?? wrt to crysis

    Also could you please answer a couple of my questions:
    1) I assume that we have to designate players for each game. Can one player from a team play more than two games?
    2) Are the prizes that are listed the only prizes or do you have other prizes also for 2nd, 3rd?
    3) Under what circumstances will substitutes be allowed?

  • 18. qsertqert  |  May 5th, 2008 at 9:13 am

    :o

  • 19. Administrator  |  May 5th, 2008 at 9:28 am

    Hi,

    - it could promote camping for some defensive teams. Not sure it will help to camp in Crysis and give up points but that’s a strategy the teams will have to develop across all 5 games. See which are your weaknesses and strengths and plan!
    - yes. one player from a team can play more than one game but not in the same match i.e. one player must finish the match and can’t change in the midst of a game;
    - We don’t have cash prizes for 2nd and 3rd but we will be swinging some neat prizes from Sony, Intel and Microsoft for 2nd and 3rd place!
    - Difficult to list out each circumstance but we think it would have to be something like a player injury that makes it impossible for them to play.

    Cheers!

    does everyone in the team needs to play all the games in the competetion or each has to play one game except crysis

  • 23. sunil  |  May 5th, 2008 at 2:54 pm

    HI does each one from the team needs to play all the games or it only crysis.

  • 24. flow  |  May 5th, 2008 at 8:27 pm

    Thanks for the reply guys.

    One last question about crysis. By left alive do you mean that its sort of a last man standing type of deathmatch where lives are counted down? i.e each player starts with ten lives (say) and loses them every time he dies?

  • 25. triklops  |  May 5th, 2008 at 8:39 pm

    Please don’t get me wrong. I didn’t mean to be disrespectful or accuse you guys of anything. Just that I’ve been participating in tourneys like these for years now e.g. WCG, ESWC, Microsoft War of a Million (which was free..long live Bill Gated :D). All of them had both online & on spot registrations. Just a suggestion as well as a request. Please consider including On Site Registration. Thank you & Good Luck.

  • 31. sam  |  May 6th, 2008 at 3:32 pm

    Hi,

    How do the teams qualify ? lets say 40 teams turn up in mumbai and 10 teams in the rest of the cities. how are the 64 teams going to be chosen? is it sort of going to be like the 10 teams play each other with the team scoring the highest going through? Could you provide some clarity so that we can finalise our team based on this. :-) Thnaks in advance

  • 32. Administrator  |  May 6th, 2008 at 3:57 pm

    Hey Guys,

    More responses to your queries below:

    - Number of people left alive in Crysis is based on how many of your team members are still alive at the end of the time limit. Each team player will only have one life in the elimination rounds and we will either increase the number of lives for each player or the number of rounds as we work towards the finals;

    - no offense taken at all on the concern about how genuine we are! completely understandable. Honestly, the amount of back end work that is going into setting up all the elimination rounds is too much to allow for spot registrations especially with the team format (there can’t be spot registrations for the finals in Mumbai anyway since the teams need to make it through the elims). We are just trying to keep the elims as smooth as possible. But I think there is a fair point for us to try and come up with a solution for gamers who are concerned about us being a scam. Watch this space for a possible update on the process which should make you guys happy!

    - you need to forma team to participate in Vixture. If you are an individual gamer use our blog to find other gamers like you with whom you can form a team;

    - unfortunately, we don’t have anyway to contact people who don’t leave their contact information. We don’t force an email address from people to post on the blogs;

    - the fee of Rs 1,500 is for each team of playing 5 members. You can have a different team for the elims and the final but you will need to name all your players before each tournament;

    - The number of teams that will make it through the elimination rounds will be pro-rated to the number of applications we get per city. So the final 64 will be formed from the leaderboards from each citiy’s elimination rounds.

    Hope the above replies help!

    The Vixture Team

    How many members can be there in one team?

  • 35. TOM THOMAS  |  May 6th, 2008 at 6:27 pm

    Hi!!!
    I’ve a quest…
    If we keep on wining a single game with the highest scores, will we get the prize money amounted to dat particular game. for eg. if ma team keeps on winin in Crysis, will ma team get through the finals n win the prize money of 4 lakhs?

  • 36. triklops  |  May 6th, 2008 at 8:08 pm

    Quite understandable but you guys could also do it the way the Microsoft guys did in War of a Million. On spot registrations a week before the start of the elims. Trust me guys in a country like ours, u’ll get many people showing up to register on site who didn’t opt for the Online & DD modes. Anyways Thanks again for organizing this tourney, means a great deal to us gamers. God Bless U.

    Hi,
    I would like to know that how will you select top gamer of each game if the elimination is based on the team’s cumulative score.

  • 41. Rgahuveer  |  May 8th, 2008 at 4:02 am

    Hi……
    I was wondering if you could elaborate the rules of FIFA and cricket a bit more.

    Cricket - I know its a 5 over game. What is the difficulty that it will be played in. Are the teams in the game, the ones that come from the factory or all names have been modified with creation of new players with respect to the current teams. How do we know who gets to pick the team first….

    FIFA - What is the difficulty level. And what is the halftime of the game. Are we allowed to choose clubs or only countries ?
    What about the manual through ball and crosses….Can we turn them off ?

    With respect to participation….Are we allowed to choose members from different states ?
    Looking forward to your reply…

  • 48. sayan  |  May 8th, 2008 at 2:55 pm

    when is the last date of registering.

  • 49. bloodworks  |  May 8th, 2008 at 4:21 pm

    i have a little confusion….

    is it that we need a team a whole team to participate in all the games or only single person can participate in a single event..

    like if u want to compete only for pro sreet so would it be a valid registration…

    that part is not clear to me…

  • 50. sam  |  May 9th, 2008 at 7:59 am

    @ vixture:

    Also Admins plz update us on whether any alternative registration arrangements are feasible, like on spot reg etc. because there are many among us who would like to avoid the hassles of online payment. Its not that we’re asking u for a rebate or something..just requesting for an alternative mode of payment we’re used to for tourneys like these. :P

    Also, NFS track details have been posted. More responses to queries coming soon….

  • 61. Administrator  |  May 11th, 2008 at 4:13 pm

    Hey,

    Here’s a bunch of responses:

    - the last date for registration for a city is one day before the date of the eliminations in that respective city;

    - individual gamers can use the blog topic created for the purpose to find other team members (some teams have already been formed in there!);

    - Individuals cannot register for Vixture as this is a team event;

    - the cost for registration is Rs 1,500 per team (inclusive of taxes);

    - Each team is made of 5 members + 1 team manager (if you need one) + 1 substitute;

    - you cannot proceed in the elimination rounds of Vixture by winning the highest points in only one game. Points will be awarded to each team for each game (the point system has been put up already) and the top teams in each location based on the points leaderboard will make it to the finals in Mumbai.

    - at the finals in Mumbai, however, you can continue winning 1 game and play for the prize money of that individual game even if your team gets knocked out in the league games;

    - See game rules posts for the anwers on the questions on cricket and FIFA;

    - you can choose your team members from anywhere in India! They have to be Indian residents;

    - You cannot register for only one game. You have to register as a team and play all the games at the elimination rounds. I know we have said this often, but I think its worth reiterating;

    - no prize money for city winners but we’re working on some goodie prizes for each of the teams that makes it through the city eliminations for the finals in Mumbai;

  • 62. flow  |  May 11th, 2008 at 5:21 pm

    Nice to see there is someone that actually listens !!! :-)

    Great job guys !!!

  • 63. Hamstar  |  May 11th, 2008 at 6:11 pm

    Hey admin will it be like the FIFA specialist in a team vs the FIFA specialist of the other team or will it be like a draw & whichever team member’s name comes up will have to play a given game by you?
    For eg - My team has 5 players, each one plays a certain game well. Like me for FIFA & my friend for Cricket. So will it be like me (FIFA) vs opponent (FIFA)? or can the Cricket player in my team get selected by a draw & he would have to play FIFA? Plz Clear this out

    Vixture Admin : It would be between the pre determined FiFa players from both the teams , who plays what game in a team , is solely on the team members. A single member can play 3 games incl. Crysis.

  • 64. Hamstar  |  May 12th, 2008 at 5:38 am

    Ignore my question…everything clarified. Thanks

  • 65. Rahul  |  May 12th, 2008 at 9:02 am

    Digital Herald - Thanks to Gaurav, Sumit, Rohit, Dhruv for making the team. We are short of 1 member for Crysis. Please let me know if there is anyone good at Crysis. Let me know your email ID and I will contact you soon.

    Some Details

    Team Name : Digital Herald
    Gamers already available for - NFS Pro Street, Fifa 08, Cricket 07 and Fight Night round 3.

    Look forward to take on the champ in the team.
    Reach me at rahul_harry@yahoo.com

    Cheers!

  • 66. Raj  |  May 12th, 2008 at 9:41 am

    It’s all good but we were really hoping that there would be minimum prize money for city winners to cover their traveling expenses to Mumbai. Since we usually see in tourneys like these that the organizers either make travel arrangements or award prize money for players to do so. Also Vixture is charging players the highest amount of participation fees than any other national or international tourneys till date.

  • 67. triklops  |  May 12th, 2008 at 8:40 pm

    just so u guys know, to play Team Action u need to update Crysis to ver 1.2 & above or else it wont work. Thx.

    Vixture Admin: Yes it would be updated with the latest patch

  • 68. Trilok  |  May 12th, 2008 at 11:09 pm

    Hmmm TeamAction, i have played it with my buddies over at the Lan Party in we organised. It’s really good for a Team-based Deathmatch and Vixture should Implement in their game format for Crysis. *thinking deeply* lets c hope they will do tht.

  • 69. geet  |  May 13th, 2008 at 3:56 pm

    Hi , Thanks for posting the rules for cricket 07 but , I think u have missed something very important please let the participants know that in cricket the fielding will be manual or automatic , I got many e-mail about this problem and yes for sure the automatic will definately be the best choice for us .

    Greetings,

    Less than 2 weeks to the eliminations now and yet no update on Crysis. Admins respond please. I sincerely hope, for all our sake that is it the Team Action mod. I suggested this mod because it takes the best out of Power Struggle & Instant Action modes and compiles into something that is perfect for this Tournament. Also its from Official Crysis Modding portal Crymod owned by Crytek and its totally bug free. But if they decide to do otherwise, like I said before its gonna be the armageddon fragfest of the century. God Forbid :)

    Hoping for the best and Best of Luck to all other Teams.

    Hey,

    I happened to see an advert in the papers & that brings me here. I’m assuming that vixture would be working on the likes of “Championship Gaming Series” , which is aired on ESPNSTAR . Personally, I’d reckon that individual game formats would bring in more registrations but I’m guessing a team registration is imminent, no other go.

    Anyway, I’m into FIFA and of all the games on the list, I can only vouch for being good at this one, maybe cricket with some practice. I’m a resident of hyderabad and if teams out here need someone for FIFA, please contact me.

    I’m ok with traveling to another city & thus to a different local elimination round, as long as the rest of the team is promising. I say this only because this is a team game and proficiency at one game reaps no benefits, heck one can’t make the nationals for a single game, unfortunately!

    I made it till the national quarterfinals at the FIFA interactive World Cup, held in mumbai earlier this year.
    Please Click here and read through the article

    that was for NFS prostreet….

  • 83. sam  |  May 17th, 2008 at 10:32 am

    hmm is it possible in crysis to ensure that the player spawns with only one life and not respawn after that? if thats the case then maybe they can keep a 5/10 life count and go with that.

    i.e if they have problems with the team mod which is still the best option. TDM 30 or 50 frags is the best.

  • 84. triklops  |  May 17th, 2008 at 1:18 pm

    nope..one time only spawn like CS is not possible. The rules in this game works more like Quake/UT/COD4 than CS.

    & therez no TDM besides TA mod cuz PS is objective based. Even if u try to convert IA into TDM judges will have a tough time ensuring each and every player’s integrity, cuz most of them will end up killing their own members accidentally or deliberately.

  • 85. triklops  |  May 17th, 2008 at 1:45 pm

    There is no reason for the Admins to reject this mod especially since it’s officially endorsed by Crytek, which is to say if they don’t get implicitly skeptical and start worrying about some imaginary vulnerability that can be exploited by us, the participating gamers. If that is the case then, might I suggest a pledging ceremony just before the commencement of the event, just as an assurance of our integrity. :P

    Vixture Admin: Crysis will be updated with the latest patch. Latest being 1.2.1

    Couple of questions….

    1) For the city eliminations will each team play against all other teams(round robin) or will it be a double emimination or a single elimination?
    2) What prizes can we expect at the city level?
    3) What are the rules for crysis ?

  • 93. Martin  |  May 20th, 2008 at 5:16 am

    Why was Pune & Mumbai merged?
    Pune teams would be reimbursed for travel and boarding??
    Apart from that, why treat Pune same as Mumbai players

    this highly unethical and a big let down for Pune gamers
    time and again Pune gamers have to face this
    for once i Vixture would make a pleasant change but you proved me wrong
    this is highly disheartening, i’m very very disappointed

    Admins thanks for the confirmation & good luck to everyone participating. One final point that still needs to be discussed however is the attitude of the organizers at the venues. As I’ve noticed in previous national tourneys like Microsoft War of a Million, among the organizing team a couple of guys were behaving as if they were the drill sergeants of our platoon. Ordering us around and telling us to shut up when we tried to clarify something. They even made use nicknames allotted by them like Player1 & Player2 instead of our own nicknames. I’m talking about something that happened 3 or 4 years back and things have changed a lot since those days BUT, just in case a situation like that should arise, we have 3 options:

    1)Resign then and there and leave the place.
    2)Beat the crap out of them.
    3)Call someone from Vixture and tell them about the situation.

    Personally I prefer option 2 :P but since 3 is a more viable option I request the Admins to please provide us with the information. Thank you.

  • 109. ajay  |  May 26th, 2008 at 4:18 pm

    @ triklops….u r from which city.
    .it looks like you r king of gaming, having attitude & desire for everything as u r the only one who’s participating in the tournament & without you the tournament won’t take place.
    I went today for delhi prelims and everything was just perfect.a bit overcrowded but thats ok.
    A suggestion to u - look things from a positive side always.

  • 110. triklops  |  May 26th, 2008 at 5:19 pm

    @ajay: My comment/suggestion was directed towards the Admins and not towards you, who the hell ever you are. I made the post because we had faced situations like these in the past. I don’t consider myself to be the king of gaming but I was the one who initially suggested the Team Action Mod. Sam was the only one who commended me on that.
    I was exercising my right to free speech and if you don’t approve of it, I frankly don’t give a damn, because you are not the king of gaming either.
    A suggestion to u - mind your own damn business.

    P.S. Admins, the 2nd point in my previous post “Beat the crap out of them” was just a joke, so no hard feelings.

  • 125. Rahul (Nick :Nemesis)  |  June 3rd, 2008 at 7:44 pm

    Hello Admin,

    Firstly.. good job on the elimination round. Everything went off smooth without any glitches.

    We’ve qualified and I had a couple of questions and suggestions.
    Could you please tell me more about the 3 day national finals, all the events and programs that are scheduled for those three days. The sort of exposure that the tourney is offering on those three days ?

    Also, a couple of suggestions.. that could help make the tournament a bigger success that what it already is, a hit. I noticed that after every game, the referee made a note of the final score. For example.. In FIFA, Team X beats team Y 4-0 .

    Now, if you could gather all these scores and seed the stronger teams(based on the results from the elims) onto different qauters of the bracket that makes the 64 teams.. then the best few players will meet only in the later stages.

    This would be like the seeding system of a tennis tournament where the top two players meet only in the final, provided there are no upsets.This way, the top 4 meet only in the semis and so on. This suggestion is purely made so that two of the best players don;t meet in the first few rounds , knocking one of them out and paving way for a lucky weaker player to reach the finals.This could be done for the sports games like cricket and FIFA at least. Just a suggestion :-)

    Thank you for all the co-operation once again.

    Vixture Admin: Glad you liked the organization . Ur Views shall be taken into consideration. Thank You

    My team has qualified for the national finals to be held at Mumbai and i have a few queries.

    1. Will the participipants get anything for just participating at Mumbai?
    2. How have you split the tounament in Mumai. Eg. quater ,semi and then finals?
    3. If so, will the Team who lose in the quter finals get anything?
    Kindly reply as soon as possible and also about the accomodation, which will be much appreciated.

    or Is that winning team along with 20 lakhs winning team will also get individual prizes for winning respectve games.

    thanks for taking care of travel and occomdation allowance. I hope i wil not have the same experience what i had wcg 2007 they had promised to reimburse but never received any.

  • 133. triklops  |  June 4th, 2008 at 11:30 pm

    This is so weird. In the final rules Crysis section its written Team Death Match (Instant Action). What the hell does that mean, shouldn’t it be Team Action. If its a typo then its ok but if they reverted back to the Instant Action idea..I got nothing more to say. :(

  • 134. Rahul (Nick: Nemesis)  |  June 5th, 2008 at 9:57 pm

    Hello Admin,

    Firstly, Congratulations on the fantastic city coverage and the smooth running of Vixture, what can I say? , the event has been pulled off with absolutely “Zero Friction” ;)

    On a closer look at the rules.. I’ve come up with some doubts, I’d really appreciate a response to these..

    1. The criteria for the qualification of the NFS individual game quarter-finalists states “The average lap time across the 2 rounds will be considered. In case of a tie
    a rematch will be conducted

    Seriously ?, with all due respect.. I’d love to meet the person who came up with this one.. I’m sure its someone who loves Formula1 or rather those amazing qualifying sessions that we see on TV… agreed the rule aims at bringing into light, the fastest drivers or rather the most skilled ones…, BUT, how do you expect to categorize all the race times when there are 5 different race locations and 17 different tracks,from which according to the stated rules ,one will be selected at random discretion of the referee… What I’m trying to say is, there are tracks out there, for example there’s one on EBISU, which can be done in as fast as 32 seconds… while there’s one on texas speedway that takes more than a minute !!!

    How would you get the top 8 players for the quarters when clearly those who get the smaller tracks would have faster average lap times ???

    The only way this rule would make sense would be IF ALL PLAYERS WERE TO RACE ON THE VERY SAME TRACK AT THE VERY SAME LOCATION !!!

    PLEASE confirm this for me.. have i interpreted the rule wrong ? because I don;t think this makes any sense!!… no offense, but this is a serious issue.

    2. The rules for fight night state “Total game score across the 2 rounds. In case of a tie on game score the no. of knockdowns will be considered”

    Alright, what happens if the match is finished in three rounds, because if one wins three rounds out of four, the match can be finished there.. not needing a fourth round.. in that case, would the winner’s score be normalized?? , because clearly.. the winner will be rated out of 30 points and not 40(considering a four round scenario).

    3. FIFA team selection is still limited to France & Italy … There are a plethora of teams in the game, why only these two ?? Is it because they made it to the world cup finals ?? .. Well in that case, why not limit the cricket selection teams to Australia & Sri Lanka … France’s team chemistry ain’t as high as Italy’s.. and this fuels ammunition for a debate.. Why this bias towards cricket ???

    4. Lastly, If only 8 teams will be selected for the quarters… then without a shade of doubt, the luck of the draw would have a HUGE impact.. kindly imagine this scenario the strongest team gets pitted against the second best team for their first round and the fourth or fifth best team for their second round.. this leading to this strongest team managing to make only 5 wins out of 10, thanks to the tough competition… which would clearly leave the best team in the tournament no chance to make it to the top 8 teams… for thanks to the luck of the draw.. some teams might walk away with 10 wins on 10 games

    I sincerely request .. yes REQUEST!! & plead you’ll to consider picking the top 16 teams, which is a mere 25% of the 64 that start.. just to keep the luck of the draw at a minimum
    This adds just one more round of gaming to organize, but multiplies the odds of minimizing luck thus maximizing the chance of the top teams to stay and play in the finals…adding to the entertainment factor of the event

    Phew, that was a long list… I sincerely hope your reading this till the very end. This tournament has been a really big hit amongst us gamers. Please do not let minorities tarnish any due credit that it deserves, thanks to minor little problems..
    : like the rule set for nfs (unless I’m mis- interpreting it)
    : or a strong team getting eliminated for only 8 teams were taken (thats a mere 12.5%.. this leaves a lot to the luck of the draw)

    Thank you for the co-operation

    And good luck to everyone for the finals,
    -Rahul

    Vixture Admin: For Mr. Rahul
    Clearing a few of your doubts

    1. For FiFa : It was France and Italy only again. But here there won’t be a coin toss , players can choose whatever teams they want , both can be france or both can be italy too

    2 For NFS :
    The rules have been updated for NFS, kindly redownload the Finals Ruleset again. 5 Locations & 5 Grip tracks from every location have been short listed . So now its 5 tracks only.

    For the finals in the 1st & 2nd rounds , only 1 out of thiese 5 tracks will be chosen & everyone will race on that track only.

    1st a 1 v 1 will be played to get a winner for the team based scores.

    Then both the players take the same track again 1 after another without the split screen to get their fastest laps in … the timing of which would be taken down to be calculated for the single player prizes.

    Hello Admin,

    Thank you for that much needed amendment on the NFS front.
    any changes for fight night? about the score being normalized ??

    Also, I have another doubt/suggestion that i recently came up with… regarding cricket

    The cricket quarter finalists are to be narrowed down based on net run rate according to the given rule set. Now as we know, a team’s run rate totally depends on the runs they score and hence the term run-rate. The runs a person scores, irrespective of the player’s potential or skill at this game is heavily dependent on the PITCH the players play on.

    I would request you to try this game out on different pitches or inquire from other gamers about this. Infact, even by looking at the scores from your elims.. you would realize that the DAMP & GREEN pitches are very low scoring, when compared to the DUSTY and DRY pitches… much like in the real world sport. Also, the damp pitches often spring up controversies.. like the one in the mumbai elims.

    My point being that the net run rate on a DAMP or GREEN pitch will be low, much lower when compared to a DUSTY or DRY pitch. Imagine the scenario where a player gets a DAMP pitch in their first round and a GREEN one in their second match.. this would really leave them no chance in making a high run rate and thus qualifying for the game’s quarter finals…

    A level playing ground is the only means of assuring that things stay fair and thus avoiding a controversy or fight later. This is a scenario much like the one in NFS where a level playing ground is required for the statistics (net run rate) to be categorized in the same class.. different pitches would be like different tracks for NFS and clearly those who get DUSTY or DRY pitches would end up with higher net run rates…

    A particular pitch will be chosen, and the same pitch & conditions will be maintained for all the matches.

    A few additions have been made to the fight night round 3 rules, kindly re download the finals rule set please !
