We’re getting a lot of requests from individual gamers to help with formation of the teams. Vixture is a team event and we promote teams to come together.
Hopefully, you can use this blog to find other individual gamers in your area or across India to tie up with and form your teams so we can see you all at Vixture!

Hey,
I happened to see an advert in the papers & that brings me here. I’m assuming that vixture would be working on the likes of “Championship Gaming Series” , which is aired on ESPNSTAR . Personally, I’d reckon that individual game formats would bring in more registrations but I’m guessing a team registration is imminent, no other go.
Anyway, I’m into FIFA and of all the games on the list, I can only vouch for being good at this one, maybe cricket with some practice. I’m a resident of hyderabad and if teams out here need someone for FIFA, please contact me.
I’m ok with traveling to another city & thus to a different local elimination round, as long as the rest of the team is promising. I say this only because this is a team game and proficiency at one game reaps no benefits, heck one can’t make the nationals for a single game, unfortunately!
I made it till the national quarterfinals at the FIFA interactive World Cup, held in mumbai earlier this year.

guy n gals (if any).. i see a lot of folks posting that they’re good at this and that, but fail to mention any real stats.. don’t see anyone posting callsigns or URL to their stats (for e.g. for Crysis or NFS). except for a (very) few genuine gamers (one even gave the specs of his rig - good one btw) i think most (not all ) have only played against bots (computer generated opponets) and not in a MP mode. just like you guys to know that playing against bots is very (extremely) different from playing in a MP (multiplayer) mode. in SP, the computer lets you win, but in MP there’s someone at the other end able and willing to kick your behind.. so if you’re not sure, you may want to save yourself some humiliation at the competition.. IMHO.
as for the real gamers, i got just one thing to say to you - kick some behind! good luck and may the best team win!

Hey guys , i am hemant from Kanpur. I am real gaming freak playing since last 8 years. I have won many championships specially in various Racing games.My internet friend was last time 2nd runner up ( 3rd place ) in WCG INDIA FIFA 2007.I also have good players in crysis and fightnight round 3 who can beat expert difficulty of computer.We all are basically improving our skills in crysis which i have played for about 3 months for now and m very good at. We needed a player who can participate in Cricket 2007 and should be above average.(atleast can score 100+ in 5 over match against medium or50% difficulty of computer).

@ Iceman: Dude, with such excellent quality of broadband in India most gamers prefer LAN gaming to online gaming. So implying that gamer without fancy online stats and kick@ss rigs r mere n00bs is a gross understatement of their gaming prowess. Personally I prefer online gaming too but wasted too much of my time on MMOs to have any stats anywhere besides the top ranking player list of those MMOs.
Ur stars are awesome but BF2142 is in no way same as Crysis albeit both are FPS. I have a meager COD4 online stats but I’m not gonna brag abt it cuz neither is COD4 anywhere same as Crysis. Actions speak louder than words or online stats. If my team qualifies I hope we get the opportunity to play against ur team. It would be an honour.
